Dr. Amy Bacharach is a Senior Research Analyst with the California Judicial Council’s Center for Families, Children, and the Courts, specializing in juvenile justice and human trafficking. She has conducted extensive research on these issues and has authored numerous articles and reports and a book chapter. Her work is used to educate and inform judges and court stakeholders who may work with trafficking victims and offenders.

​She also serves on statewide task forces related to these issues, as well as on boards of local community organizations dedicated to women’s rights and preventing human trafficking. In addition to her work with the Judicial Council, she spent many years as an adjunct professor, and in 2013 was named one of the top 25 forensic psychology professors nationwide. Amy holds a Ph.D. in forensic psychology and a certificate in Organizational Development.
