Ada is an anti-trafficking expert in Bosnia with long practical experience on prevention and combating the issue at the grass root level. She has knowledge of the legal and institutional framework of BiH, migration and trafficking situation, as well as policies and practices in other countries in the region. She is good knowledge and expertise of assessment and evaluation techniques.

Her advocacy is for gender equality, prevention and combating human trafficking, gender based violence, providing social assistance to genuine victims of human trafficking and gender based violence, child brides, forced marriages, including working with migrant populations. She has attended various trainings and seminars on the issue of gender based violence and participated in numerous international conferences held abroad and study visits on the issue.

Since 2007, she has been in charge of organizing and conducting numerous trainings, workshops and lectures for Law Enforcement Agencies of B&H, vulnerable categories and general public on the issue of human trafficking, developing and managing comprehensive projects involving multiple governmental and non-governmental stakeholders aimed at preventing and combating human trafficking and gender based violence in B&H. Ada developed and implemented actions aimed at improving women’s rights and their empowerment.

She has participated as co-author or contributor in many researches of the human trafficking issue and in the development of the State Action Plans for Prevention and Combating trafficking in human beings in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ada was nominated as the GMMP National Coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2015. She is a scholar of the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Her interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills has given her the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with and win confidence of a wide range of actors, partners and officials. She has excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to draft reports and present recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
