​Policy Working Group Chair for the 2021 National Outreach Survey for Transportation

Trayce Hockstad is the Chair of the Policy Working Group for the National Outreach Survey for Transportation, under the USDOT Combating Human Trafficking in Transportation Impact Award.​

Trayce is an attorney currently working as a Legal Research Associate at the University of Alabama Policy Research Center. She served as a clerk in several federal and state courts in Virginia, and has published multiple legal and policy research articles.

​Her areas of interest include human rights, international justice, criminal, environmental, and constitutional law topics. She currently serves as a member of the Transportation Research Board’s Standing Committee on Environmental Issues. Trayce has experience performing complicated statutory and case law analysis, as well as synthesizing federal and state legislative actions.
