Governor State Report on Human Trafficking (GSR)
It is imperative that we identify the challenges, successes, and gaps of services on the frontlines of combatting sex and labor trafficking. To support that focus, after the conclusion of the National Outreach Survey, United Against Slavery will release the first-ever Governor State Report on Human Trafficking for all 50 states and territories. We will release 50 GSR reports, which means that every state will receive a custom GSR report with a sample of the data collected in that state from all participating stakeholder groups. The GSR will allow constituents, anti-trafficking stakeholders, and government officials to confirm what is and isn't working from those who know best. This data will allow new services, resources, and policies to be developed, while also encouraging greater accountability, transparency, and unity. We look forward to presenting empirical data with a focus on evidence-based work in each state.
The GSR Logo was designed with strategic significance.
- Each state or territory name is centered along the top of each logo to show respect for the work of stakeholders in each state
- 50 green olive branches represent a symbol of peace and victory
- There are 25 olive branches displayed on each side to symbolize that true unity of peace and victory can be achieved, despite divisions
- Each logo includes the state flag that waves atop the government building because we are dedicated to presenting empirical data to combat human trafficking and support frontline stakeholders in each state as new policies are sought
We have four color variations of our GSR Logos. Please review the green version below.
